Since then he has been a committed and dedicated member of the party at Ojokoro Local Government, he has also been involved in various developmental projects like Ojokoro Peace Rally 2007, Ojokoro Festival 2010 to mention but a few. To the Glory of almighty God this act has helped in the peaceful coexistence and harmony in Ojokoro and Ifako-Ijaye at large.
To this extent, his aspiration to contest in the forthcoming Local Government Election was encouraged by stakeholders in the community as well as political leaders at the Local Government level to join in the race and exhibit same with a view that his pool of experience in community development will have a greater impact in the lives of women, youths and the aged; putting first the interest of the party’s stakeholders who forms a substantial fraction in this category.
THE MANIFESTO
To ENSURE that basic amenities are in place through wider consultation thereby identifying all the challenges in our community placing priority on what is really pressing.
To FACILITATE women & youth empowerment Schemes through a working synergy with my senior colleagues at the State House of Assembly and Federal House of Representative respectively.
To PROMOTE CREATION AND/OR REVIVAL OF INSTITUTIONS that will sustain various schemes that comes into our community through the upper arms of Government.
To IMPROVE on quality of education, ethics and the living standards through proposals to members of the Ojokoro LCDA Executive Committee; putting first the interest of the great people in “Ward-D” thereby making it UNIQUE, ADVANCED AND A MODEL amongst other wards in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area.
We also intend to run an Open-Door Policy for members of this prestigious ward D; so as to bridge the wide gap between the Governing and the GOVERNED through consultations from major stakeholders and town-hall meetings for members of the community at large.
The prestigious “Ward D” deserves an honest, diligent, accessible, consistent and effective representation; as this is the panacea to our long pending expectation, hence an assurance of good dividends of democracy amongst the partisans, the progressives and the constituency at large.
Once again I anticipate your teeming Support and Vote to make my aspiration a reality.
